October or March are perfect months to move your garden azalea outside.
You can also transfer your indoor azalea outdoors during spring and summer. Wait until it has finished flowering, then put it in a shady spot in the garden. But be careful: indoor azaleas are not frost-resistant, so take it back inside before winter arrives.
